Responsibilities
Employees and Volunteers
- Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to the organization's mission and values.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies of Uplift Adult and Youth CIC.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Take responsibility for their actions and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Refrain from engaging in any behaviour that could harm the reputation of the organization.
Trustees
- Uphold their fiduciary duty and act in the best interests of Uplift Adult and Youth CIC.
- Avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any potential conflicts promptly.
- Ensure transparency in decision-making and financial matters.
Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO)
- Adhere to the responsibilities outlined in the Safeguarding Adults Policy.
- Handle safeguarding matters promptly, confidentially, and with sensitivity.
Harassment and Discrimination
Uplift Adult and Youth CIC does not tolerate any form of harassment, discrimination, or victimization based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law. Such behaviours are strictly prohibited and will be dealt with appropriately.
Use of Resources
All employees, volunteers, and stakeholders are expected to use organizational resources, including equipment, funds, and materials, responsibly and solely for legitimate purposes related to Uplift Adult and Youth CIC's activities.
Communication and Confidentiality
Internal Communication
All communications within the organization should be respectful, constructive, and professional. Employees and volunteers are encouraged to listen actively and respond appropriately.
